A construction firm that runs like one.
Twirleo is a Toronto general contractor. We build new, we renovate existing, and we treat both sides of the work with the same discipline.
Started by people who'd had enough of bad jobsites.
We've worked for the kind of contractors who run ten jobs at once, undercommunicate, overpromise, and treat client relationships as transactions. Twirleo exists because we wanted to do the opposite of all of that, and prove it scales.
We run a tight bench. Project leads have skin in the game; the person who quoted the work is on the site daily.
Our trades have been with us for years. They're paid on time. They get scheduled fairly. They show up on time because the company they're showing up for has their back.
That's not a culture deck. That's just how we run the company so the work gets done properly.
Our clients are typically Toronto homeowners doing meaningful renovations, families building their first custom home, and small commercial operators fitting out a space. We pick projects we know we can deliver well, and we say no to the ones we can't.
Six values. They actually show up.
Most contractors have values on a website that nobody on-site has ever seen. These ones show up in how we hire, how we quote, how we schedule, and what we won't do.
Communication you don't have to chase
Weekly updates in writing. Phone calls returned same business day. You shouldn't have to wonder what's happening on your own project.
Estimates that match the build
Detailed scope, broken-out allowances, contingency where it's appropriate. Surprises get caught in estimating, not on-site.
Quality non-negotiable
If a step is going to be hidden, that's the step we pay the most attention to. The right substrate, the right fastener, the right detail behind the wall.
Crew first
The people on-site are the company. We treat them accordingly. The quality of your project depends entirely on theirs.
Clean site, clear conscience
Daily tidy-up. Dust containment when occupied. Materials staged, not stacked. The site you walk through is the site we'd be comfortable showing.
Stand behind it
Written warranty on every project. If we built it and it's broken, we come back. The number of times we've had to is small, and we'd like to keep it that way.
What working with Twirleo looks like.
Six things that distinguish how we run a project. None of them are flashy. All of them save you headaches.
One project lead, start to finish
The same person scopes, quotes, and runs your build. No handoffs to a project manager you've never met. Continuity is what makes hard projects feel easy.
Real schedules, updated weekly
Schedules built honestly, in software, updated against actual progress every Friday. You always know where the project really is.
Design-aware, not design-arrogant
We can lead design when needed, or build to your architect's drawings without ego. We flag constructability issues early and offer alternatives, not vetoes.
Permit-savvy
We've worked with City of Toronto and surrounding municipalities through the full spectrum: minor variances, heritage districts, infill new-build, change of use. We know how to move through it.
Financially transparent
You see the schedule of values. Invoices are tied to progress. Change orders documented before work begins. Allowances itemized.
Safety on the level it deserves
WSIB-compliant, fully insured, certified trades, current hazard awareness on-site. The boring stuff. We do it.
Insured, certified, running it right.
Documentation available before contracts are signed.
Liability insurance & WSIB
Full liability coverage. WSIB compliance for every worker. Certificates of insurance provided before work starts.
Permits & inspections
Building, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC permits handled in-house. Inspection scheduling coordinated against the build schedule.
Licensed trades
Master electricians, licensed plumbers, certified gas fitters. Documentation provided at handover.
Site safety culture
Daily site protocols. PPE. Containment for occupied spaces. Hazard awareness. Working safely is the floor, not the ceiling.
